European Ecolabel
For the business community and consumers. European environmental quality mark for non-food products and services. Criteria relate to the whole lifecycle of a product or service.
Environment barometer
With the environment barometer emblem you can show that you are working with the small and medium-sized enterprises environment barometer. The emblem means "we measure and improve our environment score".
ISO standards for corporate social responsibility
ISO 9001 for certification of quality management.
ISO 14001 for certification of environment management.
ISO 26000 is a guideline for the introduction of corporate social responsibility. This guideline is not intended for certification. It is expected that this guideline will be published at the end of 2009.
Standard for employment conditions
SA 8000 is a certification system in the area of employment conditions. Based on the international norms of for example ILO and UN conventions. For example, it contains standards relating to child labour, forced labour, health & safety, right of association and collective promotion of interests, discrimination, working hours and honest payment.
Norm for corporate health and safety
The norm OHSAS 18001 is intended to help organisations manage health and safety risks.
Industry-independent auditing social standards
For retailers, the industry and importers who want to raise the social standards in their chains. You can join the Business Social Compliance Initiative. On behalf of various member organisations BSCI carries out in one go an audit at a specific supplier. So you no longer have to do all this yourself. It does not cost much time and money to know what is going on at your supplier.
