CSR in small and medium-sized company
Large companies may appoint a special manager for this purpose, but smaller companies too can act in a socially responsible way. Indeed, the number of small and medium-sized companies that pay attention to corporate social responsibility is increasing all the time. And now that the minister Frank Heemskerk has announced the intention to make corporate social responsibility a Dutch export product, the growth will increase even more.

Trade associations and corporate social responsibility
About twenty trade associations have now set up corporate social responsibility activities for their members: construction and infrastructure companies, installation industry and the technical retail trade, dealers in natural stone, travel companies, recreation entrepreneurs, fashion, shoe and sport industry, accountants and administration consultants, gambling machine industry, technological-industrial sector, fashion, interior, carpets and textile, rubber and plastics industry, demolition contractors, IT, telecom, office and internet companies, painters, maintenance, metal preservation and glass industry and the professional plant relocation firms.
